Introducing
your 2010
Price Hill Athletic Association
Saints
As we gear up for the 2010 Baseball Season, let us thank all the kids and parents that made 2009 a year to remember for the PHAA Saints! Their hard work and dedication is what youth sports is all about. We doubled the number of Knothole teams from 4, in 2008, to 8, in 2009 (1-Class A, 2-Class B, 2-Class C, 1-Class D and 2-Class D-non), plus the 4 teams of "minor leaguers", called the Westside Stars!
As our children and our organization grow, so must our staff. We will be heavily recruiting throughout District 14 (Price Hill to the east, Delhi Township/Riverside to the south, Sayler Park to the west and Covedale/Westwood to the north) to try and bring the fun and magic of sports to as many children as we can. The more kids we get off the streets and onto the ballfields, the more parents, grandparents and caring adults we need to teach them the fundamentals and joy of teamwork and friendship.
Although we can only offer Knothole baseball for the boys and girls, ages 6-18, and instructional baseball for ages 4 & 5, at this time, we are making all efforts to raise money and sponsorships to bring back football, cheerleading and other activities. If you would like to volunteer to work with us, we would love to have you! We need coaches, assistants, team Moms and cheering sections to help all of our children learn, grow and have fun. The memories you can make will last a lifetime for both you and the kids!
The links below will help you get started. Fill out and print the Information form and then turn it into the PHAA! You can reach Rick Villier by email, phone, or fax, at (513) 921-8365, or mail it to P.O. Box 7034, Cincinnati, OH 45205-7034. A new option, through our sister site at LeagueLineup, allows you to register online, before we gear up on January 4, 2010. Early registration ends Saturday, February 13, 2010. We must announce to the League how many teams, and in which age classes, we will be fielding on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Contracts will be issued at that time. All League contracts & Organization agreements MUST be signed by Saturday, March 13, 2010, and all fees must be paid (or arrangements made) to finalize our rosters, which are due to the League on Tuesday, March 16, 2010. The Knothole season should run from Saturday, April 10 (usually it is the first weekend in April, but Easter falls on April 4), and runs until Saturday, June 26, 2010. Teams that are eligible for post-season play will start their run for the City Championship on, or around, July 1, with the City Championship game slated for Saturday, July 31, 2010.
Child-Parent Information Sheet (Print, fill-out & turn in at Registration) for Players and Parents/Guardians. Those with Microsoft Word, or Excel, can use a fillable form that can be printed, emailed or faxed. There is also an online version available, that will be sent straight to the Organization. Uniform fitting, League contract and Organization agreements will still need to be signed, plus fees will still have to be remitted, but you'll be registered immediately!
